Welcome! Our teachers are fully qualified / experienced, DBS checked and ready to introduce your child to the world of dance.
We offer a wide range of excellent theatre dance classes for children who have varying levels of experience (beginner to advanced level) from school Reception up to year 13. There are a number of different ‘routes’ through the school that your child can take and we are always very happy to work with you to find a timetable that is most appropriate for your child at various times in their school life.
To ensure each child is able to achieve their best given the level of commitment they wish to place on dancing, we have a number of compulsory subject combinations in place at various stages of training. You will be informed about these ‘linked classes’ when you enquire about joining us and throughout your time in our school.
If your child has previous ballet, modern or tap dancing experience, then we usually carry out a free consultation to find the most suitable class combination also considering the genres in which your child is most interested as well as their personal aims. Please email copies of relevant previous dance examination reports to us to help with this process. It may also be necessary to organise an assessment for your child either in a group class or private lesson setting. The in-class assessment fee is £15-£25 depending on the level and duration of the class. A private assessment is charged as per private lesson fees. Following this, we will be able to advise the best class(es) for your child.
Please note that prospective students who are beginners may be placed in a class with younger children who have dance experience.
