In our fortnightly Sunday afternoon classes, children explore the wide range of styles within Musical Theatre by working on a different musical each term.
One challenge of Musical Theatre is to learn to sing, act and dance at the same time, therefore, being a ‘triple threat’ performer. The teacher develops all three skills in the students ensuring each student retains their individuality.
The classes include improvisation (which requires ability to think on the spot and builds confidence), vocal training and text work (learning accents if relevant for the piece) and developing a character through physical movement and speech.
Musical Theatre classes are great for those students who want to gain confidence and have fun learning Musical Theatre and vital for those who are interested in a career in performing arts.
